Responsibilities
  • Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve functional outcomes.
  • Provide one-on-one, patient-centered therapy in an outpatient setting.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Contribute to program development for neuro-focused services, including vestibular or balance training, gait rehabilitation, or cognitive-motor integration.
  • Participate in continuing education and staff training related to neuro rehab.
  • Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Massage Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Fitness Specialists, Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.
  • Team members with temporary permits must work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist that has been licensed for a minimum of six months. A supervising licensed Physical Therapist may only supervise one permittee at any given time.
Certifications and Licensures
  • Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Required PT (Physical Therapy)
  • Or PT Eligible to obtain
  • Or PT Temporary licensure and licensure within 6 months
Requirements

  • Preferred Master's Physical Therapy
  • Preferred Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Preferred 1-year Physical Therapist experience

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday (8 hour) shifts/Days
