Qualifications

Your Contributions to Our Team:

·Develop and deliver high-fidelity mechanical designs and analyses on schedule

·Perform FEA (preferably Ansys) to determine stresses and deformations for strength and performance

·Create and review 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks or Creo

·Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align requirements and deliverables

·Resolve technical issues through root cause analysis, trade studies, and sound engineering judgment

·Lead technical work in design reviews and collaborative sessions

·Mentor junior engineers by sharing expertise and setting technical examples

What Contributions Do You Bring with You?

·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required), graduate degree preferred

·8+ years of experience (10+ preferred) in mechanical engineering design and analysis

· Demonstrated mechanical design creativity, with strong attention to detail

·Strong creativity and deep understanding of mechanical systems design with excellent attention to detail

·Proficiency with Ansys (or equivalent FEA tools) or 3D CAD platforms (SolidWorks, Creo) and drawing packages

  • Solid knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus
  • US PE license is a strong asset but not mandatory
  • Enjoys technical problem solving in a hands-on, multidisciplinary environment
