KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to join our Global Technology & Group, part of the KPMG International team.

Responsibilities
  • Function as a subject matter expert for analysis functions, providing support on involved cases and guiding the activity of other analysts through collaboration.
  • Investigate incidents using SIEM technology, packet captures, reports, data visualization, and pattern analysis.
  • Analyze, escalate, and assist in remediation of critical information security incidents.
  • Lead coordination of GSOC's response to individual cyber security incidents.
  • Maintain documentation on residual risk, assign leadership owners, and recommend steps for remediation.
  • Identify and document containment and remediation efforts that reduce risk; act on alerts, events, and incidents escalated from the shift analysts.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in a large matrixed setting.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer networking, or computer security is required. CISSP, CISA, CISM certifications or equivalent are desirable.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, networks, and tool development.
  • Knowledge of policy and standards, incident management, prioritization, security testing, monitoring, IT change, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Advanced understanding of information security, border protection, incident handling and response, forensics, endpoint protection, and encryption.
