Overview

Maintenance Mechanic Lead

The Maintenance Mechanic Lead performs project management duties, maintenance and repairs of all pneumatic machines and line equipment.

Shift & Schedule

This is a full time position on 3rd Shift 10p-6:30a. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, plan, & perform all operations necessary to install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, rebuild, and dismantle various types of complex manufacturing and support equipment with special focus on advanced troubleshooting on control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on complex high speed packaging lines
  • Perform preventive maintenance and other proactive activities to monitor and maintain equipment condition
  • Troubleshoot and repair of Pneumatic Control Systems, Allen Bradley PLC Systems, RSLinx, Process Control Instrumentation, 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters and controls
  • Coordinate with other technicians, production personnel, engineering, management, and other stakeholders to communicate and plan maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with equipment/service vendors for technical assistance
  • Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized work areas
  • Comply with regulatory, Keurig Dr Pepper, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards (especially safety)
  • Assist other maintenance technicians as priorities dictate, time allows, or directed
  • Identify opportunities for maintenance or process improvement and drive recommendations to implementation or resolution
  • Complete or assist with special projects as directed
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
Total Rewards
  • Compensation: Pay starting at $43.71 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $46.00 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

Requirements
  • 3 years’ experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical/controls/PLC systems (Allen-Bradley systems experience required, including, but not limited to, the Rockwell FactoryTalk suite of software, Logix platform, and proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley) required.
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowchart, block diagram, and schematics.
  • Ability to competently use and understand precision testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
