Slalom, LLC is seeking a Principal Consultant for its M&A Strategy team in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, leading complex projects that assess M&A readiness and integration planning. Responsibilities include developing strategic roadmaps, facilitating workshops, and applying technical expertise across enterprise platforms. Ideal candidates have a minimum of five years in consulting roles, strong technical skills with enterprise applications, and excellent analytical abilities. This is a role with one of Slalom’s global teams – we are open to hiring in many locations and travel will be required as needed by our clients.
We are seeking a Principal Consultant to join our M&A Strategy team, partnering directly with our Enterprise Capability practice. In this role, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients navigating complex mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise transformation initiatives. You will bring together deep technical expertise in enterprise platforms with sharp business acumen to shape strategy, lead delivery, and architect solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Minimum 5 years of experience delivering technical projects in a consulting environment

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:
The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Consultant in Silicon Valley and San Francisco is $131,000 to $185,000. And for Boston, LA, White Plains, New Jersey, New York City, Seattle, San Diego, Orange County, and Washington DC the range is $149,000 to $176,000. And for all other locations the range is $137,000 to $160,000.
The targeted base salary pay range for Principal in Silicon Valley and San Francisco is $168,000 to $240,000. And for Boston, LA, White Plains, New Jersey, New York City, Seattle, San Diego, Orange County, and Washington DC the range is $154,000 - $220,000. And for all other locations the range is $141,000 - $200,000.
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
