A leading science and engineering institute in California is seeking a Logistics Associate to join its Logistics Support Team. This role involves packing, handling, and transporting materials, as well as providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience, be willing to work flexible hours, and meet safety compliance standards. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $23.50 to $26.75.

The Logistics Associate is part of the Logistics Support Team that is responsible for packing, handling, transporting, receiving, and issuing materials. High level customer service is crucial due to the interaction with vendors/suppliers, internal customers, and functional peer groups such Materials & Services team. The Logistics Associate is also responsible for passenger transportation services for Caltech community members and guests. Reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
This is an Essential Reporting position. An employee designated as Essential Reporting has essential job skills that are needed for response and recovery and is expected to report to campus as soon as possible.
$23.50 - $26.75 Per Hour. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
