Overview

The Internal Audit Learning, Development, and Engagement team seeks a Learning Advisor - Skills and Data Insight Lead to advance the skills and capabilities of our global audit workforce. This role focuses on assessing, analyzing, and enhancing internal audit skills through data-driven insights and strategic stakeholder engagement. The Learning Advisor - Skills and Data Insight Lead reports to the Senior Vice President (SVP) Learning Advisory Group Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Skills Program Management: Support the Internal Audit Skills Assessment program, including strategy related to platform, tools, process, design, and gap remediation, aligned with regulatory commitments.
  • Skills Inventory & Strategy: Partner with EWM, HR, and IA leaders to identify, maintain, and support an inventory of department and enterprise-wide audit skills.
  • Training & Development: Support the strategy for implementing and developing training programs to address identified skills gaps, collaborating with IA Learning & Development.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Design and maintain robust data models and dashboards using Excel and Tableau to analyze skills assessment insights, monitor training efficacy, and support regulatory and Quality Assurance data reporting.
  • Consultation & Insights: Serve as a data consultant to stakeholders, providing insights to drive audit readiness and future-state capability planning, identifying, analyzing and developing data-driven narratives for regulatory audiences.
  • Project Support: Support Internal Audit Talent Program workstreams and interact with EWM PMO resources to ensure regulatory milestones and deliverables are met.
Skills & Competencies
  • Understanding of Internal Audit, Risk and Control, and Learning and Development.
  • Experience in Data Analytics, Workforce Management, or HR analytics in a highly regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA/Macros) and Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with skills assessment methodologies and gap remediation.
  • Program/project management and strong executive presence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Familiarity with professional audit frameworks (e.g., IIA standards).
  • Experience in AI tools (a plus).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 6+ years of experience, including 3+ years in skills assessment, L&D, or HR analytics, leveraging data for solutions and root cause analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Risk Management, Controls, Audit, or Compliance concepts.
