Java FSE Lead with React Js (On Site)

As a Java FSE with React Js , you will make an impact by developing and maintaining scalable software applications using React Js and Java. You will be a valued member of the Banking and Financial team and work collaboratively with primary team and stakeholders.

Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain scalable software applications using React Js and Java to meet business requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement software solutions that enhance user experience.

• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members.

• Identify and address technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve software functionality.

• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and learning environment.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support software development processes.

• Implement best practices for software development including version control testing and deployment strategies.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Location: Plano, TX

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 918/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $135K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
