A leading insurance company is seeking an Application Development Engineer to develop and maintain software applications. Responsibilities include coding, testing, and collaborating in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in application development, proficiency in Java, and experience with CI/CD. This position is hybrid, requiring three or more days per week in the office.
The Application Development Engineer (Java Developer), working under moderate supervision, is responsible for the development of software applications by coding, testing, and maintaining application software. The role works closely with lead/senior engineers, teammates and other stakeholders, often in a SAFe Agile team, to ensure that moderate complexity software solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. The role works with technical mentors to ensure that best practices and standards are followed.
Hybrid defined as three (3) or more days per week in the office.
