Job description

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to join our Finance Full Suite (FFS) Global Components team. This senior-level role will be responsible for the design and implementation of new or enhanced systems, features, and applications in close collaboration with the broader Technology team.

As the FFS Technology Lead, you will guide key components including Portal, Maphub, Rules Fabricator, and DataBridge and lead the efforts to modernize and update these platforms, ensuring successful integration with core ledger systems and other Citi applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing full life-cycle object-oriented software, including analyzing and designing application specifications and documentation of software user requirements.
• Participating in software architecture, requirement gathering, coding, testing and creation of functional specs of a JAVA/J2EE enterprise application.
• Application development and enhancement using Java Languages, XML, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Spring, Mybatis, Hibernate, JPA, Java Scripts, CSS, Web Services, SOA, and WebSphere or Tomcat application servers with ORACLE as database in Windows/UNIX systems.
• Service Architecture development using REST and SOAP with performance tuning in both agile and waterfall methodology.
• Designing and developing scalable and low latency distributed Java web applications to track the status and progress of the events coming through JMS APIs like TIBCO or Kafka.
