Freixenet Copestick is seeking aCategory Analyst to join the Strategy & Category team to supportretail partnerships and help shapecategory strategies. Reporting to the Strategy & Category Controller, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset to develop their career in FMCG within a business that values innovation and collaboration.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain and update internal category reporting in line with business schedules.
• Lead on the streamlining and development of tools to enhance category understanding.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of internal datasets, acting as the key contact for data cleansing.
• Track and report on market trends and category developments within the BWS sector.
• Provide analytical support for range reviews, merchandising decisions, and NPD planning.
• Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from the Category team and wider business.

What we\'re looking for:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong grasp of PowerPoint.
• Natural problem solver with an eye for detail and a structured approach to analysis.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to translate data into insights.
• Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role, or a graduate with demonstrable analytical capability.
• Experience working with Kantar, Circana, Nielsen, Dunnhumby or similar datasets is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting 3 days a week at the Newbury Head Office.
