Job summary

A charitable organisation in South Wales is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee its bilingual e-mentoring programme, supporting disadvantaged young people. Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English; A Levels and Degree (or equivalent).
  • Experience in project management, education sector, and monitoring/evaluation.
  • Strong organisational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Commitment to confidentiality, equal opportunities, and professional standards.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritise competing demands.
  • Enhanced DBS check required for working with young people under 18.
  • Ability to communicate in Welsh.
  • Experience with databases and developing programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the e-mentoring programme.
  • Oversee and deliver e-mentoring sessions.
  • Maintain relationships with education providers, mentors, and partners.
  • Manage communications with stakeholders.
  • Administer mentor and mentee registrations and DBS checks.
  • Develop and deliver weekly themes and training materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes.
  • Support recruitment and engagement of mentors and mentees.
  • Develop TMF’s digital presence.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health policies are upheld.
  • Contribute to fundraising and grant applications.
  • Organise trustee meetings and maintain project documentation.
