Overview

Job Title: HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient manufacturing operation by providing comprehensive employment support for hourly bargaining unit employees. Your efforts will help guarantee a great employee experience and foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
  • Administer hourly employment office functions and processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and contractual obligations.
  • Manage day-to-day employment window functions, including leave tracking, reinstatements, and general employee support.
  • Implement onboarding orientation sessions for the hourly bargaining unit workforce.
  • Support the execution and implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with the administration of national and local collective bargaining agreements.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in human resources and employee relations.
  • Experience in employment/labor relations and manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to utilize lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee development.
  • Data analysis skills for informed decision-making.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends.
  • Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
