Responsibilities
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and cost allocations.
  • Assist in the development of the operating plan and financial forecasts by gathering and managing departmental spending inputs.
  • Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and reconcile assigned accounts, including prepaid expenses, freight, and other operating accounts.
  • Support capital project closeouts and related fixed asset activities within the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with department managers and finance leadership to analyze and monitor departmental spending.
  • Represent the finance function on cross-functional teams, supporting both operational and business objectives.
  • Assist with inventory-related activities, including cycle counts and audit readiness.
  • Serve as a point of contact for resolving PO and AP issues at the site level.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in a financial analyst or accounting role.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, SAP and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with month-end closing processes, account reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of internal controls and financial best practices.
