A leading health system is seeking a Staff level Finance Data Analyst to focus on cost savings analytics and financial data insights. The role involves working within a team to provide finance support, create reports, and interact with various business and clinical leaders. Candidates should have a degree in analytics or a related field, with experience in data analysis, SQL, and data visualization tools. This position offers competitive pay and generous benefits.
This role focuses on system-wide cost savings analytics and reporting, utilizing internal costing tools and data platforms to validate and automate projects within the Cost Stewardship team. It is a highly visible position that interacts with various teams, offering unique experience in Health System Optimization and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
This position helps develop and deploy world class financial data analytics at Intermountain Health, one of the nation’s leading health systems. The Staff level Finance Data Analyst is a member of the Finance Decision Support team comprised of technical professionals contributing to the achievement of Intermountain’s strategic initiatives, clinical excellence, and operational targets through data-driven insights, with a finance focus. Analyst caregivers report to finance analytic leaders while partnering with key business and clinical leaders across all areas of Intermountain Health.

Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics with two years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis.
Or Bachelor’s degree in another area of study with four years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis.
Experience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust.
And
Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
