A nationwide engineering firm is seeking a Risk Assessor for environmental investigation and remediation. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with BUSTR regulations and involves significant reporting responsibilities. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering field and have at least eight years of related experience. Strong problem-solving and report writing skills are essential. This position is based in Omaha, NE.

We are seeking a Risk Assessor, Environmental Investigation & Remediation to join our Cleveland or Columbus, OH team! Come join us!
Technical Resource for Major Petroleum Portfolio.
Efficient completion of upper level BUSTR reporting, including Tier 2 Calibrations, Tier 3 Evaluations, MCAs, etc.
Expert in risk assessment, including fate and transport modeling.
Assist clients with complying with local, regional, state, and federal regulations for the BUSTR program.
Bachelors in any science or engineering fields
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, include work related to BUSTR environmental site investigation and remediation
Extensive experience with BUSTR fate and transport modeling and site specific target level generation
Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements
Efficient in Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
Must possess outstanding problem solving and report writing/editing skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
Must be able to pass initial drug screen and five-year motor vehicle background check.
Experience and understanding of BUSTR Rule sets
Experience with Fate - Transport Modeling is considered a plus.
40-hr HAZWOPER training
