The Director of Enterprise Business Development will manage 10+ enterprise‑level accounts at a time, selling into the largest clients in our market. The Sales Team matches our technical, commercial, and operational capabilities to customer needs, developing a clear understanding of the company's business and technical issues and drivers, and delivering technical sales presentations and personal working relationships. Every team member attends weekly 1:1 meetings with their Sales Director to discuss pipeline and forecasting.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed your sales quota by selling into new enterprise‑level accounts and expanding accounts with current clients.
  • Build and maintain a robust and clean customer pipeline.
  • Conduct online technology demonstrations that clearly highlight the value of our software.
  • Prepare contracts, invoices, and other administrative tasks to ensure the sales process is properly closed and documented.
  • Identify market trends and share knowledge with colleagues and leadership.
  • Remain current on ongoing new product features and their potential impact on prospects and clients.
  • Enter, update, and maintain information on leads, prospects, and opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Build account‑specific strategies for growth.
Qualifications
  • A self‑starter attitude with experience creating outreach strategies for new lead generation.
  • A proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding quota.
  • The ability to explain complex workflows in a straightforward and organized manner.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Deep understanding of the energy industry, including its trends and challenges.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to establish rapport with C‑level executives and decision‑makers in energy companies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Focus on selling solutions rather than just products, emphasizing value and benefits of the SaaS solution for the client.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to track sales performance, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions to improve sales strategies.
