Job Summary

HCA Florida Kendall South Dade Freestanding Emergency Department is seeking FT board certified or board eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join this premier practice along the Florida Atlantic Coast in Miami. The Freestanding Emergency Department is a 10 bed ED that is supported by and transfers to the sister facility at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, a level 1 trauma center, burn center, cardiac center, and comprehensive stroke center.

Emergency Department Features

• 10,000 annual patient visits per year
• 9-bed Emergency Department; 1 resuscitation room
• POC Comprehensive lab on site
• CT and X-ray onsite
• US On call 24 hours
• Physician coverage – 24 hours/day (12 hour shifts)
• Peds volume – less than 9%
• EMR – Meditech PDOC
• Offering occurrence based malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• Comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision and 401k
