A leading global consulting company in Tampa, Florida seeks an Early Career Project Control Analyst to manage project costs and assist project managers across various disciplines. This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Early Career Project Control Analyst to join our Earth & Environment Team serving a dual role as project controls analyst for the Central and South Florida Business Line (50%) and project coordinator (50%) to support multiple project managers with their projects in multiple disciplines across Florida. This position will be based in the WSP Tampa, Florida office. This position offers an opportunity to support the Local Business Lead in managing portfolio performance, including monthly reporting, trend analysis, and improvement processes. Specific tasks would include tracking project costs against budget, including committed and expense costs, and allocation to WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), recommending recovery plans for project cost overruns, preparing associated internal and client documentation, and communicating/coordinating with the Project Manager, internal process staff, and the client to facilitate necessary changes.
This position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced team that provides solutions on environmental and engineering projects. Your role could include involvement with day-to-day determination of the financial health for the Busine Line (running reports and building spreadsheets) for the LBL and assisting various Project Managers through all stages of a project’s life cycle (proposal, execution, invoicing, and closure).
