Job summary

A leading medical device firm is seeking a (Senior) Project Engineer to join their Trauma R&D team. This position involves designing implants and instruments, leading projects from development to market launch, and collaborating with clinical advisors for product evaluation. Ideal candidates will have relevant engineering degrees, understanding of regulatory design controls, and experience in the medical device sector. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Design controls understanding in a regulated industry.
• Fluent in English; German appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop implant and instrument systems.
• Advance projects through the design development phase.
• Interface with clinical advisors for product design input.
• Model and detail designs using CAD software.
• Develop prototypes for validation.
• Create drawings for new products with manufacturing experts.
• Manage design control within Agile Project Management.
• Write technical reports.
