Dodge Construction Network is searching for a high-impact Director, Regional Sales to join our team!

The Director, Regional Sales will be responsible for leading a team of SMB Account Executives and ensuring the achievement of regional sales targets for the company. This role is critical to the organization, and is ideal for a leader who knows how to drive performance, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. Specifically, the Director, Regional Sales will be expected to build, lead, and develop a team selling new business into local or regional contractors in the commercial construction industry.

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Sales.

Location

For this remote position, candidates must be based in our West region to support their team within the assigned territory.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive results – own regional performance metrics, including revenue growth and team productivity

  • Lead by example – provide hands-on leadership – from coaching to working side by side with Account Executives to close deals, while maintaining a culture of trust, professionalism and ethical behavior

  • Develop talent - Recruit, hire, and develop a winning sale team with high standards that deliver results

  • Own the outcome – take full accountability for the success of the region. Use metrics and data to hold team accountable to defined goals and drive strong outcomes to consistently deliver revenue targets

  • Deep dive into pipeline and forecast – weekly inspection of pipeline health, deal progression and forecast accuracy through 1:1 meetings with account executives. Be willing to challenge team members to develop them and maximize outcomes.

  • Motivate, inspire, and coach team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly activity, and sales goals

  • Train new hires on the sales process, ensure standards of success are clearly articulated

  • Support and guide the team on prospecting and optimizing results through sales stack (Salesforce.com, email, social media, Salesloft, etc.)

  • Represent Dodge professionally in all interactions

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent work experience

  • 7-10+ years of relevant sales experience, software/SaaS preferred

  • 3+ years of experience leading high performing sales teams with a proven track record of success

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce

  • Knowledge of the commercial construction market and its business practices, a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent

  • Must be a high-energy, ambitious, client-centric team player with a positive attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Possess superior personal integrity and exceptional communication skills

Salary Disclosure

Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
