A climate tech startup is seeking a Director of Capital Markets to shape its financial strategy. Responsibilities include leading capital raising efforts and building financial forecasting models. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of investment banking experience, with a strong ability to develop compelling investment narratives. The role is remote with occasional travel, offering competitive equity and benefits.
Founded in 2019, Brimstone is an innovative industrial startup with a proprietary, efficient, and deeply decarbonized process for producing Ordinary Portland Cement. We’re now growing our all-star team of sharp, mission-driven, collaborative professionals as we continue to refine our process and move towards construction of our first production facilities.
As the Director of Capital Markets, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial positioning of our company. You will be responsible for partnering with our CFO, business, and engineering to understand long-term financial forecasts. You will leverage these relationships to build a clear picture of the company’s financial situation five or more years out. This is an exceptional opportunity to help build the financial function of a high impact startup in the climate tech sector. This role is eligible to sit remotely, with strategic travel as needed.
