on-nanodrugs GmbH is a Planegg/Munich-based pharmatech company developing innovative equipment for the encapsulation of genetic materials and active substances into nanoparticles. Based on our proprietary FR-JET® Technology, our systems - NANOscreen®, NANOlab®, NANOme®, and NANOus® - support the full journey from formulation screening and process development to GMP aseptic manufacturing. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a new member to our team:
Main responsibilities and tasks
- Support development of new equipment and related process technologies
- Take ownership of in-house servicing and maintenance of LEON equipment portfolio
- Participate in customer installations, qualification, and training activities
Secondary tasks
- Collaborate closely with our R&D team to support daily operations and continuous development.
- Project management of development projects.
- Document, communicate, and present technical results clearly and accurately.
Must-have Qualifications/Experience
- Master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
- Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, process technology, and equipment design according to relevant standards.
- Industry or post-education work experience in engineering environments.
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude; comfortable assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex technological equipment.
- Experience in prototype development, mechanical design, or system integration (CAD experience).
- At least basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).
It is an advantage if you have
- Knowledge of bioprocesses, nanoparticle formulation, or liquid handling systems advantageous.
- Familiarity with instrumentation, pumps, flow systems, and control/automation components (e.g., PLCs, sensors, actuators).
- Comfortable working in laboratory and workshop settings, ensuring safe and clean operations.
- Experience with pharma R&D and production processes is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing principles in a regulated environment, including documentation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and testing required to validate equipment for GMP use.
