Job summary

A leading financial institution in Puerto Rico is seeking an Associate for Delinquency Management (External Collections) to manage collection efforts for overdue accounts. This hybrid role requires an Associate's degree and at least two years of experience in collections, preferably in financial institutions. Candidates must possess excellent negotiation and customer service skills, be legally authorized to work in the US, and be willing to travel within Puerto Rico and the USVI.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in collections, preferably in financial institutions.
• Excellent communication skills to manage relationships across all levels.
• Fluency in English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection efforts through visits and calls for overdue accounts.
• Determine factors affecting debtor responsibility and offer counseling.
• Ensure correct coding of loans in applicable platforms.
