Overview

Contracting Specialist (remote) is primarily responsible for negotiating attractive reimbursement contracts with medical providers that treat personal injury patients throughout the United States. The role supports the contracting process from start to finish, including online research, provider due diligence, rate negotiations, and contract execution with the support of general counsel.

The Contracting Specialist typically manages 30+ active conversations at any given time and requires exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. The position reports to the Director of Sales Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiate reimbursement contracts with medical providers for personal injury patients nationwide.
  • Facilitate the contracting process from start to finish, including online research, provider due diligence, rate negotiations, and contract language negotiation with general counsel through to contract execution.
  • Identify potential medical providers, conduct due diligence (background checks, medical board actions, patient reviews, etc.), and ensure practices meet standards of excellence.
  • Negotiate attractive reimbursement rates using skilled techniques and quantitative benchmarks.
  • Represent PROVE with exceptional customer service, raise brand awareness, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure a steady pipeline of medical providers who can treat patients in need.
  • Maintain familiarity with PROVE’s products and services to support outreach and provider relationships.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Experience in phone-based roles.
  • Professional negotiation experience (e.g., collections background).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical specialties, facilities, and medical coding/billing.
  • Proven track record in inside sales or similar settings.
  • Excellent command of the English language and strong phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently with solid time management and attention to detail.
  • Experience using cloud-based CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Skillset & Qualifications
  • Proven track record exceeding objectives in past inside, phone-based sales roles.
  • Strong numerical aptitude for quantitative benchmarking.
  • Ability to conduct targeted outreach via PROVE’s CRM and research tools.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $1,200–$1,800 USD per month
