Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geological site investigations and provide detailed reports
  • Assess geological hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs
  • Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration and lab analysis of soil samples.
  • Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/MS in Geology, Engineering Geology or related field
  • Certification: CEG or PE certification in CA required (CEG preferred)
  • Experience: 5+ years in engineering, project management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations
