What’s the Job?

In short, as the Central Services Specialist you will be the central point of contact for all purchases made on behalf of Drivetime business units. In addition, you will facilitate and manage all purchases not allowed on corporate credit cards; this includes but is not limited to office supplies, shop supplies, minor equipment, gift cards, incentives, and Amazon purchases. This position will also oversee the daily purchasing operations of the Company, and represent DriveTime interdepartmentally, as well as with external vendors and other outside organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Processing purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents for the purchase of goods and services.
  • Vetting purchases to obtain the most cost-efficient vendors and prices for material, supplies, tools, services, and equipment requested by business units.
  • Reviewing, authorizing, and coding all purchase requests for services and supplies obtained to conduct business.
  • Proper recording and allocation of expenditures by completing a monthly purchasing related expense report.
  • Generating and maintaining vendor Excel reports as needed.
  • Managing our national purchasing vendors.
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable to audit and approve national vendor invoices against contract.
  • Acting as a resource for all business units to assist them in obtaining the most efficient means of production.
  • Performing all other projects and one-off assignments as assigned by leadership.
