Job summary

A leading pet food manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Supervisor-Bilingual to oversee quality assurance and control processes. The role involves leading a team, managing quality documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, ideally within the food or pet food industry. Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a quality assurance role in food or pet food manufacturing.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily QA/QC activities including receiving and product testing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA and USDA.
  • Monitor and enforce food safety standards including HACCP and SQF.
  • Review documentation for records and deviations.
  • Lead internal audits and support third‑party inspections.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues.
  • Train QA specialists and production staff on quality procedures.

Skills

Knowledge of pet food industry regulations (AAFCO, FDA, FSMA)
Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and GFSI standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, manufacturing environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in food science, animal science, microbiology, or a related field
