Job description

An experienced Subject Matter Expert/Business Analyst is instrumental in guiding strategic design decisions, spearheading the development of enhanced solutions, and ensuring the rigorous testing and seamless implementation of projects

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on all aspects of Agency Securities Lending operations, influencing strategic decisions and project direction.
• Business Analysis & Solution Design: Conduct in-depth analysis of current state processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement within collateral management, recalls, settlement, reconciliation, billing, and payments.
• Contribute to project planning, scope definition, and risk mitigation.
• Develop detailed test plans and cases to ensure comprehensive validation of new functionalities and system enhancements. Execute and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting defects and working with development teams to resolve them.
• Support the seamless implementation of new processes, including cutover planning and post-go-live support.
• Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
• Assist in the development of operational procedures and best practices.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• 10+ years ASL operational experience
• Front-to-back knowledge of securities lending collateral management
• Knowledge of recalls and linked returns management
• Securities Lending Billing accruals and billing
• In depth knowledge of automated and manual ledger postings
• Thorough understanding of ASL Ops controls

Education

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent
