Compensation: $169,700 - $282,900

Position Overview

The Admissions Director serves as the primary liaison for prospective residents, families, referral sources, and internal teams, ensuring a seamless, customer‑focused transition into the facility. The role is responsible for managing the full admissions cycle from initial inquiry through post‑admission follow‑up while maintaining accurate census data and regulatory documentation. The Admissions Director upholds the organization’s standards for professionalism, responsiveness, and resident satisfaction, representing the facility as a key ambassador within the community and among regional care partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record information concerning inquiries, admissions, and discharges.
  • Daily census reports and reporting.
  • Coordinate the inquiry process.
  • Facilitate the admission process, including completing required paperwork.
  • Notification and reporting of admission updates.
  • Maintain monthly records of census and other necessary reporting records.
  • Remain in contact with new residents; perform 3‑month post move‑in visit and survey residents for satisfaction.
  • Represent facility at community events, open houses, and other special and public‑relations events.
  • Work with case managers locally and in surrounding areas.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in healthcare admissions or a related role within long‑term care, senior living, or hospital environments.
  • Strong understanding of referral coordination, eligibility processes, and census management.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to support residents and families with professionalism and compassion.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, including managing multiple admissions and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with computers, electronic documentation systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with case managers, referral partners, and community organizations.
  • Demonstrated reliability, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism.
