Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the general ledger and assist with the monthly close process for all US entities. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, solid leadership skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger accounting team.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with US GAAP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Accounts Payable, Payroll) to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
  • Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support annual audit activities and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
  • Drive continuous improvements in close timelines and automation of accounting processes.
  • Mentor and supervise staff accountants and other team members as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a mid-to-large size corporate environment or public accounting.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and/or Oracle FCCS.
  • Exposure to multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools and automation software.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $128,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
