Key Responsibilities

Operational Efficiency

  • Oversee the efficient running of manufacturing operations for SATS Food Services, 234 Pandan Loop.
  • Establish and review procedures and work processes to meet operational changes and customer requirements.
  • Monitor process compliance and drive process improvements.
  • Plan, manage and control the section to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure GMPs in the food plant and smooth operations.

Safety and Security

  • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff in the section.
  • Oversee food and personal safety and security matters related to transportation and operation.

People Development

  • Ensure sufficient and proper on-the-job training (OJT) for all staff.
  • Monitor, evaluate and enhance staff performance, including setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and recognising achievements.
  • Inculcate good staff discipline, including implementing a fair but firm disciplinary measure when necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance positive workplace harmony and staff morale.

Control Operational Costs

  • Monitor and control operating costs, including overtime costs and transportation claims, while ensuring high levels of efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and plan NE staff duty schedules according to events and operational requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with executives, employees and HODs of other departments to ensure maximum integrated operating effectiveness.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers.
