Qualifications

• Bachelor Engineering or equivalent experience required.

Job description

Purpose of the position

Together with the team develop innovative electrical crane solutions, focusing on finding practical solutions that will perform (customer value, truck/crane environment etc.), and are easy to manufacture and assemble. This role will work dedicated to the electrification team and be a core part of the electrification projects as a team member (be part of kanban, scrum, group meetings, group offsite etc.). Belongs to the laboratory organization and will sync the electrification team’s use of the lab resources in a good way. The role is on-site with location Hudiksvall.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Secure Product (Crane) knowledge in the projects both when it comes to use/drive a crane and knowhow around technical solutions and connecting end user feedback.
• Work closely with the electrification team engineers to find practical solutions both when it comes to testing and finding good product solutions to cranes.
• Be an innovation speaking partner.
• Execute the plans, tests and verifications for electrified cranes.
• Lead the work with setting up test strategies for the different phases (when to test what, good test coverage, how to test, what to measure etc.).
• Plan, order and build test systems and full crane tests.
• Use the laboratory test equipment and build up new for its purpose.
• Ensure that we use the rest of the lab knowledge, test facility, test system in a good way.
• Document and share results, make it understandable, searchable, reusable.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor Engineering or equal experience.
• Highly experienced from using and building cranes.
• Good electrical experience from battery, electrical inverters, motors etc.
• Prototype manufacturing and testing.
• Test system programming and development.
• Crane application knowledge.
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken.
• Good level of Swedish.
• Truck driving license, fork lift certs, overhead crane/loader crane cert.
