The Process Optimization Specialist plays a critical role in driving manufacturing excellence by continuously improving production processes, reducing waste, and supporting the development of new products. This position serves as a key technical resource within the factory, collaborating across departments and representing the site in customer-facing activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Continuously optimize process parameters to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Champion “First Time Right” principles across production
  • Conduct training sessions on production processes for operational staff
  • Monitor and analyze production losses to reduce waste and improve yield
  • Manage and update production recipes in alignment with operational needs
  • Coordinate rework activities with the production planner
  • Develop process parameters for new product introductions
  • Collaborate with R&D on customer projects and product trials
  • Participate in factory trials and pilot runs
  • Identify and propose technical improvements and innovative solutions
  • Lead initiatives to increase efficiency and support modernization efforts
  • Detect and address potential bottlenecks in production
  • Establish and manage external technical contacts independently
  • Represent the factory and its processes during customer visits
  • Actively contribute as a member of the HACCP team
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in continuous manufacturing process optimization
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement practical solutions
  • Experience in HACCP and Food Safety Systems (FSSC)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Project management experience in a production environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
