The Contracts department is responsible for coordination and commercial aspects of all subcontracting required for project execution. The Senior Contracts Manager operates in a taskforce, working closely with project management, project controls & estimating and various other technical disciplines from both the office and the construction site.
Key responsibilities:
Early project Contract Plan Development (Contracts Strategy), including setting up of Project Procedures, Contract Formats and Contractor pre-qualifications;
RFP/Contract development, bidding, negotiation, and award of Construction Contracts and EPC Contracts;
Post-award contracts management, including change management, coordination, communication and claim prevention & handling.
Experience:
Substantial experience in Contracts Management in an industrial environment (chemical, petrochemical and/or equivalent types of industry), including experience in Construction contracting, and preferably also in a PMC/Client role performing EPC contracting.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor degree (preferably technical degree); law degree is a plus;
At least 15-20 years experience in a similar position;
