A leading life sciences technology firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Nordics, including Sweden. The role involves managing the sales cycle, generating leads, and expanding customer relationships in the pharma and academic markets. Ideal candidates will have a background in life sciences sales and strong communication skills. This full-time position requires living in Sweden or neighboring countries, with competitive compensation and a focus on innovation in biomarker detection.
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Business Development Manager, Nordics to join our growing organization. The Nordics territory includes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, covering relevant segments of both Pharma/CRO and Academic/Government markets. You will grow the company’s new business in the territory by identifying and closing significant opportunities for capital equipment, reagents, and related services. You will build and sustain successful, long-term relationships and, with your Sales Manager, develop sales strategies in key target segments. As a member of the Quanterix Europe sales team, you will share market feedback with product and marketing teams and cultivate strong, consultative relationships with prospects and customers, turning them into Simoa evangelists.
This is an individual contributor sales role that requires strategic and systematic curation of a healthy sales pipeline, as well as strong closing skills. Products range from instrumentation and reagents to services (annual maintenance, extended warranties, IQ-OQ-PQ).
Quanterix is a global leader in ultra-sensitive biomarker detection, enabling breakthroughs in disease research, diagnostics, and drug development. Its proprietary Simoa technology delivers industry-leading sensitivity, allowing researchers to detect and quantify biomarkers in blood and other fluids at concentrations far below traditional limits. With more than 3,400 peer-reviewed publications, Quanterix has been a trusted partner to the scientific community for nearly two decades. In 2025, Quanterix acquired Akoya Biosciences, The Spatial Biology Company, adding multiplexed tissue imaging with single-cell resolution to its portfolio. Together, the combined company offers a uniquely integrated platform that connects biology across blood and tissue—advancing precision medicine from discovery to diagnostics.
