This is an individual contributor sales role that requires strategic and systematic curation of a healthy sales pipeline, as well as strong closing skills. Products range from instrumentation and reagents to services (annual maintenance, extended warranties, IQ-OQ-PQ).

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Sales Executive for the entire Quanterix portfolio of platforms and reagents, covering targets across segments in the assigned territory
  • Relentlessly pursue Capital Equipment sales activities to create and close opportunities and meet/exceed revenue goals with a quarterly cadence
  • Leverage an existing database of contacts to expand Quanterix’s customer base
  • Generate leads with a hunter’s mentality (database searches, LinkedIn, Twitter, publication mining, etc.) and build a robust pipeline
  • Collaborate with local Field Application Scientist & Field Service Engineer to demonstrate product/technology expertise and communicate the value of the company’s solutions
  • Expand the base of business across key groups with pharma, academia, and governmental institutes (labs, core facilities, etc.)
  • Understand the full procurement process from requisition to funds release and map timing in SFDC to drive forecast accuracy
  • Manage the sales cycle from introduction through purchase to deployment, coordinating resources as needed
  • Coordinate, prepare, and compile tender submission documents for tendering activities, questionnaires, and pre-qualification
  • Travel as necessary within the target territory
Basic Qualifications
  • BS or BA from an accredited institution with a major in biology or chemistry
  • 3–5 years of capital equipment sales in the life sciences industry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical experience in Immunoassay/Flow/Imaging with capital equipment sales
  • Master’s degree in engineering, cell biology, biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or chemistry
  • Excellent written and verbal English; familiarity with Nordic customs/culture and at least one Nordic language
Expectations, Skills & Abilities
  • Must live in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, or Iceland, preferably near a major airport
  • Deep understanding and experience managing the tender process
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance workload by priority
  • History of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Maintain and expand customer database using Salesforce
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Log all activities in Salesforce for direct manager review
  • Collaborative, result-oriented team player with a positive attitude
  • Active participation in regional calls and other operating mechanisms
  • Reach out to research scientists and management at accounts for sales presentations and information via phone, email, or visits
  • Provide regular oral and written communication of successes, failures, and best practices to improve the sales process
  • Valid driver’s license
