Job description

As a Docking Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating mobilization and docking projects. You will manage the projects while taking care of schedule, budget, and QHSE aspects, among others.

Within this role, you will work on mobilization, dockings, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of technical assets, analyze and improve equipment performance in line with internal business demands and QSHE-S guidelines. This is to contribute to high-quality, reliable, and safe equipment at optimal costs and to enable Operations to execute client projects effectively. Together, we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Overall responsibility for dockings and mobilization projects of multipurpose offshore vessels.
  2. Manage various aspects of the docking and mobilization project, including budgeted time, cost, execution, contractual, and commercial aspects.
  3. Evaluate repair specifications, subcontractors, and coordinate the overall technical execution of the works.
  4. Responsible for all safety, health, and quality aspects in collaboration with your QHSE colleague.
  5. Support in the development of commercial budgets and work schedules for mobilization activities.
  6. Responsible for mobilization tender management and cost control.
Your Profile
  1. BSc or MSc degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  2. At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  3. Good coordinating skills.
  4. Team player with a flexible attitude.
  5. Willingness to travel abroad about 50% of the time on short business trips.
