Purpose

We're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join the Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) team which is part of Payment Services. This role is responsible for developing and executing a Development Operations strategy to ensure quality software and infrastructure deployments and overall application health, security, and performance.

Key Missions Responsibilities:

1. Defines and implements architectures CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) process tailored for the team’s environment.
2. Develops AWS infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices, and improve operational performance.
3. Improves development, deployment and testing to make it as much automated as possible.
4. Supports teams by sharing knowledge and best practices (including clear documents for complex integration procedures).
5. Operates and debugs complex integration processes and environments in autonomy.
6. Coaches and guides less experienced SREs.
7. Gives training and shares best practices.
8. Follows approach "infrastructure as code" as much as possible.

Profile & Other Information

To succeed in this role, you need to have an experience with:

• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Monitoring tools like Grafana, Thanos/Prometheus, Loki.
• Application deployment process.
• Terraform.
• Linux, Bash, GIT.
• Helm charts.
• Kubernetes.
• Docker.

Nice to have experience:

• Groovy, Python.
• Jenkins pipelines.
• DB: DynamoDB.

SRE works on rotary on-calls.
