Senior Test Automation Engineer with Python and Azure

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with Python and Azure. The ideal candidate will have experience in Java or Python, with a preference for Python, and will possess a solid understanding of Azure Cloud, specifically Azure Databricks and Data Factory. Responsibilities

1. Leverage your expertise in Python or Java to write, validate, and maintain robust, reusable, and high-quality code.
2. Execute and create scripts for backend automation to enhance software quality and efficiency.
3. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure Databricks, and Data Factory to perform cloud-based tasks effectively.
4. Perform comprehensive database testing to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and security of the data.
5. Work closely with the team to identify, troubleshoot, and document any issues or bugs found during testing.
6. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of our testing processes.
7. Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to the team's continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

1. 3+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer.
2. Proficiency in Python or Java.
3. Extensive experience with Azure Cloud, specifically Azure Databricks or Data Lake; or with ETL.
4. Strong knowledge of and experience with database testing.
5. Experience with backend automation.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently identify and troubleshoot problems.
8. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
9. Fluent English at a B2+ level.
