Our client Smoobu, a subsidiary of HomeToGo Group, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join their team.

Smoobu is a fast-growing vacation rental startup, managing over 70,000 properties across more than 120 countries with its all-in-one SaaS solution for private hosts. As a Senior Software Engineer (PHP), you will play a key role in developing and improving Smoobu's product, helping hosts efficiently manage and grow their businesses.

You will be part of a young, ambitious, and international team that is passionate about exceeding customer expectations through expert advice and action. As we continue to innovate and expand our offerings, we are looking for talented and driven individuals eager to take on the challenge of transforming the vacation rental industry and taking it to the next level.

In this role, you will

• Work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders to identify requirements, plan milestones, and polish features by measuring their performance
• Decompose the monolith, building a modern import/export pipeline to support hundreds of third-party integrations
• Migrate the application environment from the private cloud to the AWS platform
• Choose adequate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage the risk
• Apply engineering best practices to the current team environment
• Solve technical design issues

What you will bring

• Relevant experience in Backend engineering
• Expertise in our technical stack: PHP and Symfony, Relational databases (MySQL), Docker
• Practical knowledge of decomposing monolithic architectures, clean coding, Test-Driven Development, SOLID principles
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team
• Willingness to take responsibility for features and their continuous improvement
• Professional working proficiency in English

Salary range:

17 200 - 27 500 PLN + VAT (B2B)

14 270 - 22 200 PLN gross (Permanent)
