  • Pay: $26 - $27 per hour

  • Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week

  • Days of Work Required: Monday to Sunday

What Ever It Takes HBR Limited is a Kaupapa Māori health provider in New Zealand who specialises in home based and community healthcare and support while operating under a Whānau Ora philosophy and principles.


We are looking for Kaiāwhina Hauora (Teina) workers who are passionate about working with and supporting whānau.


You will provide assistance to clients with their day-to-day personal attendant care and active daily living requirements.


Tasks Include


  • Assisting with personal attendant care needs including showering, dressing and eating

  • Assisting with mobility e.g. transfers, positioning, transportation.

  • Assisting with customised communication needs

  • Assisting with medication administration

  • Assisting with rehabilitation programme

  • Participating in service plan and whanau ora plan reviews

  • Following best practice attendant care protocols within scope of practice

  • Records management, maintaining summary case notes monitoring day to day care, changes in condition and reporting events e.g. complaints


Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

NZQA Level 3 qualification in health and disability or Māori development, or at least one year relevant experience in health, disability or similar field.


Have an understanding of tikanga Māori

and the influence of manaakitanga and whanaungatanga and the importance it plays in the journey to recovery.
