A leading marine engineering company in Asker is seeking an experienced Marine Engineer for a full-time, fixed-term assignment. The ideal candidate should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in marine engineering or operations design for offshore projects. Key responsibilities include executing engineering tasks, managing contractors, and coordinating the marine discipline. Proficiency in English and strong teamwork are essential for this collaborative role.

  • Act as the Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE), coordinating and overseeing the marine discipline.
  • Organize and lead internal meetings, client consultations, workshops, and technical reviews.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, other engineering disciplines, and the fabrication yard.
Required expertise
  • Master's or Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marine Engineering or Operations design for greenfield/brownfield projects or offshore wind.
  • Thorough knowledge of marine engineering and operations standards, such as NORSOK and DNV.
  • Efficient communicator with proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
