Visual Merchandising Coordinator

As the Visual Merchandising Coordinator for our Direct-to-Consumer channel, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of Visual Merchandising excellence and in-store storytelling for our retail stores. You'll work cross-functionally and take the lead in constantly developing any concept and visual merchandising execution. Dedicated and driven, you'll always look for ways to improve and elevate the brand execution and experience. You’ll ensure that all retail environments consistently meet the highest standards. At times, you'll support your team during ASICS events by coordinating and leading any visual merchandising execution.

How you’ll help us.

Based at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam and reporting to the Visual Merchandiser Manager, you’ll:

• Provide feedback and work with the Windows & Point of Sale team to create and share seasonal and campaign-driven guidelines and optimise the concepts.
• Optimise our assortment plans and seasonal buy together with the Merchandising and Demand & Supply Management team.
• Monitor the performance of stores and provide commercial solutions together in collaboration with the Retail team, visiting stores when needed.
• Drive brand and execution innovation through a visual merchandising and ASICS brand lens.
• Lead the creation of training materials and tools.

More about you.

• Around 1-3 years of experience in a relevant or similar role within the fashion or sports industry.
• Experience using visual merchandising or design software programmes.
• Aware of upcoming retail trends.
• Good command of written and spoken English. Good communication skills in both written and verbal English. French, German or Spanish is considered a plus.
• Organised, highly collaborative and able to work cross-functionally.
