For our client, active in offshore wind (maintenance) projects, we are looking to recruit a Senior Operations Coordinator (secondment to staff). In this role you will be responsible for leading the operations coordination team in the BeNeLux Offshore Service organization.
The job:
This is a new role and team for the service business therefore the primary task in the short term is to design and implement the structure and roles and responsibilities of the team and the transfer of the Advanced Operations Coordinators into the Joint Operation Center, taking the lessons learned and best practice from Northern Europe and Middle East region. The long-term responsibility is to manage the team of Advanced Operations Coordinators (Short term planning / dispatching) and Operations Coordinators (site support on training and purchase orders). The Senior Operations Coordinator is responsible for creating standardized and harmonized back-office processes in the region which are mapped to the Northern Europe and Middle East offshore operations model. The role will include travel to other sites and locations as required, including the head office in The Netherlands.
You will be responsible for:
Lead and line manage the Advanced Operational Controllers and Operations Coordinators within the team, coaching and developing in line with company management standards.
Proactive drive and support Manage KPI’s on the service ordering process (preventive and corrective maintenance tasks).
Support Head of Joint Operations in strategic, operational and transformation topics.
Develop detailed site-specific transition plans for site AOC’s into the JOC.
Develop and maintain relationships with Operations management and key support functions such as Resourcing, Operational Planners (Long term Planning), Trainings department, and Commercial management.
Maintain and develop good working relationships with customer organizations and effectively escalate issues when appropriate.
Work with and ensure alignment with the other NEME JOC Planning and Coordination teams.
Assist in the production and publication of accurate site reports for both internal and external customers.
Provide ad hoc data support to enable monthly reporting processes in conjunction with Operations Managers.
Continuous standardize working practices based on best practice and lessons learned.

Hands-on relevant business experience in a comparable role – preferably operational experience in the offshore wind business or in another relevant field.

Passion for operations and safety and the ability to systematically manage a diverse portfolio of topics and teams.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with proven line management experience.
Profound experience in managing and developing strong and trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Project management and experience in a complex planning environment.
Education level, HBO (Higher Professional Education).
Ability to travel, including on-demand site visits.
