As IT Infrastructure Architect, you’ll determine the infrastructure Roadmap. You will “own” the IT Infrastructure landscape and you will be involved in all decisions impacting the IT Infrastructure Landscape. Availability, performance, security, cost efficiency – you’ll be responsible for it all, reviewing infrastructure changes made by external parties and project managing their design, build and implementation.

How you’ll help us.
Working from the EMEA headquarters office in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, as part of the role you’ll:
- Design robust, scalable and standardised solutions, challenging third party suggestions where needed.
- Pro-actively suggesting, and implementing, improvements to further improve the cost-efficient performance and availability of the IT infrastructure within the EMEA region, in alignment with the global IT roadmap and standards.
- Act as a first point of contact for infrastructure matters, talking to IT Architects from our global team and various suppliers.
- Be responsible for the lifecycle management of user/office/network devices across the different EMEA locations.
- Acting as project manager with regards to infrastructural improvements.
- Assist IT-colleagues within the EMEA-region on questions regarding capacity management, risk assessment of changes, security and business continuity planning.
More about you.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Several years’ experience in a similar role, working in a fast-paced, hybrid-cloud environment, for instance within a retail or wholesale organization.
- Proven knowledge of architectural frameworks (ex. TOGAF), methods and technologies.
- A cloud-first mindset, in combination with Azure knowledge. AWS knowledge is considered a bonus.
- Proven knowledge A broad knowledge in the infrastructure domain is required (networking (incl. SD-WAN), firewalls, MDM, IAM, web-technologies, O365, VOIP-solutions).
