How you contribute to ParkBee:
As a Legal Counsel within our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by ensuring legal compliance and providing expert guidance. With your legal expertise, you will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters and initiatives. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Main tasks/responsibilities:
- Own the overall legal function with a primary focus on drafting and executing commercial (SaaS) contracts and agreements, while also owning and coordinating all other legal activities related to various areas such as privacy (GDPR), employment, and matters involving the board of directors and shareholders (corporate law).
- Enable commercial success by partnering with commercial teams to reduce legal hurdles to closing businesses and deals.
- Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to provide legal guidance and support.
- Develop policies and processes that organize all company legal activities and appropriately balance supporting rapid business growth against minimizing risks.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend necessary actions.
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors as needed to solve technical legal issues.

Perfect Spot If You…
- A completed academic degree in Law from a Dutch university.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm and/or within the legal department of an (international) organization, preferably with a focus on corporate law/M&A, commercial (SaaS) agreements, and/or privacy (GDPR).
- Experience within the start-up/scale-up environment, as well as knowledge of UK regulations, are very welcome.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- A hands-on, pragmatic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm, positive energy, and an entrepreneurial spirit, and you are thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
