Job Summary

The Vet Digital Engagement Specialist is responsible for building stronger connections with Veterinarians using our own digital assets (professional website & various tools), CRM and social media.

The candidate is a key factor in engaging the Profession through digital assets. Success in this role means for Hill’s to be recognized by Vets as a creator of added value for their knowledge in nutrition, demonstrating in-market success with related KPIs.

The role reports to the Professional Digital Manager and will work in close cooperation with the Professional Veterinary Affairs department and the Veterinary Commercial Team.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. In accordance with the educational plan and priority grid along the year, develop educational content and digital assets (podcast, article, video) that engage and communicate effectively key messages to the vet channel business including schools, aligning messaging across multiple platforms and tools, materials and target audiences.
2. Develop educational materials for Hillsvet.it and different collaborative education platforms as for Hill’s Vet Academy (training, resources and different type of contents).
3. Manage and support the implementation of the owned digital professional tools (eLearning, eCom, Recommendation tool, website) and perform all the related analysis via dedicated reports.
4. Scouting, management and content creation for tools, blogs, influencers followed by Vets: LinkedIn, apps, instant messaging, WhatsApp, blogs, digital magazines.
5. Creation of content for social media and CRM according to the editorial plan.
6. Support Customer Development team and Pet Vet Affairs in developing digital educational and promotional assets for Key customers (Large Clinics and Corporate), for webinars, Speaker Tours and congresses.
7. Manage Vet dedicated helpline, supporting and engaging with professionals on a daily basis.
8. Partner with peers to coordinate executional activities and fully leverage tools/assets.

Required Qualifications:

1. Veterinary Medicine, Nutrition or equivalent degree.
2. At least 1-2 years of general practice experience.
3. At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic.
4. Strong digital attitude and propensity for new technologies, including social media and other digital platforms.
5. Ability to understand and apply principles of adult learning.
6. Commercial interest / competence.
7. Strong analytical and data-driven thinking mindset.
8. Proven project management skills and ability to work under constant deadline pressure.
9. Strong decision-making and problem-solving approach.
10. Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
11. Enthusiasm, passion, positive and proactive approach to work. We are looking for a great team player!
12. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote and Google’s G Suite.
13. Fluent in English and Italian.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree of Education or Nutrition-related field.
2. Knowledge of various methods of engagement and communication, including gamification.

Location: Rome Headquarter (the role requires to be at the office on average 3 days/week).
