Requirements:

5+ years experience as a QA engineer with databases, SQL experience, understanding of database concurrency concepts, working knowledge of Git, ability to write scripts.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop test plans, identify missing test scenarios, create automated tests, execute tests, analyze results, report found issues, collect quality metrics, concurrency and locking testing.
2. Be at the heart of our manual testing strategy that includes collaborating with cross-functional teams and reviewing requirements.
3. Implement manual testing procedures during the development cycle and manage priorities for efficient test coverage.
4. Jump seamlessly between projects to handle testing challenges.
5. Advocate for the best possible experience for Argent’s end users.
6. Ensure reliability of high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
7. Optimize and expand existing test suites and CI/CD pipelines.
8. Collaborate with product teams on test strategy and automation for continuous acceptance criteria validation.
9. Work closely with engineers to create efficient end-to-end, integration, and unit tests.
10. Perform code reviews focusing on test coverage, quality, and efficiency.
11. Identify dark spots and adjust test strategies accordingly.
12. Supervise SAST/DAST tooling and implement rules for quality alignment across projects.
