Payroll Senior Analyst EMEA-IT-Bologna

Job Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for the entire payroll process of Italy and potentially other EMEA countries.
2. Analyze accuracy vacation provisions, employee advances, bank clearing, etc.
3. Analyze and support inquiries from internal teams: Payroll Accounting, Planning, Tax, Legal & Accounting as well as participate in auditory processes.
4. Prepare reports and analysis of results of the payroll process.
5. Participate in global initiatives to automate as much as possible the payroll process.
6. Anticipate material variations by company resulting from monthly payroll entries before month end closing.
7. Follow up payroll issues with SAP consultants until resolution.
8. Be part of a team that is growing fast within the region.

What will help you succeed:

1. Advanced knowledge expertise in Italy payroll (mandatory) and related labor legislation and taxes.
2. Strong knowledge of Excel (mandatory).
3. Advanced English Skills (B2 or higher).
4. Experience in similar positions.
5. Being eager to learn payroll procedures and legislations for other countries.
6. Excellent communications skills.
7. Being flexible & goal oriented.
8. Enjoy analyzing and solving problems.

What extras would help you to be even better positioned (not mandatory):

1. Having experience in using SAP (Payroll / Accounting modules).
2. Knowledge of data analysis tools, such as Power BI.
3. Experience in other EMEA payrolls: Spain, Denmark, Portugal, France, Poland or Germany.
4. Any extra language knowledge as Spanish, French or German.
