Job Description

We are looking for a Paid Search Manager to lead search activation for a world-leading consumer health company.

The paid search manager will lay the groundwork for the strategic direction of paid search for Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese markets and will deliver its execution into campaigns. As a primary point of contact for clients’ media teams, the manager will be responsible for ensuring that excellent service is upheld and campaigns are faultlessly executed.

The Paid Search manager will deliver on three key objectives:

  1. Exceptional activation: Implement and deliver best in class paid search activation. Implement best practice structure, creative and optimisation processes.
  2. Drive Outstanding Performance: Deliver a high standard of search effectiveness. Accountable for the effective utilisation of offshore resources and ultimately responsible for the delivery of results.
  3. Continual Improvement: Grow and develop accounts, creating business cases to increase paid search Investment. Implement and scale a test and learn model.

We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team. While the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their team autonomously.

Responsibilities:

  • Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team.
  • Primary tactical POC across paid search.
  • Work tirelessly to increase the capabilities of the team and individual skillsets.
  • Provide insightful and actionable performance reports on a regular cadence.
  • Implement and develop efficient standard processes across the team to streamline tasks across the 3 managed countries.
  • Champion best practice and always strive to increase the effectiveness of accounts.
  • Help facilitate a strong ‘team’ ethos and exhibit focused and positive team leadership.
  • Develop and grow client confidence so that we can increase the agency's responsibilities.
  • Ensure reports are prepared, analysed and shared on a regular cadence.

Qualifications

  • Experience planning, managing and activating a high volume of multi-market paid search accounts.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing talent, training, critiquing work positively, as well as performance management.
  • Advanced knowledge of bid management software e.g. SA360, GA and Adobe.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to engage with senior clients.
  • Demonstrable examples of driving excellence in paid search.
  • Proficiency in English is a must (C1).
  • Be solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance for their accounts.

Will Ideally Have

  • Good knowledge of all digital elements so they can have full understanding of digital – Paid Social, Programmatic, Remarketing, Video etc.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
